Poppadums

So as you may have noticed I am now blogging from South Africa. I am living on the university campus of Stellenbosch University on the Western Cape. I was worried about the food situation here but was sure I would figure something out. After my first day I discovered poppadums, a traditional indian crispbread and my god are they fabulous. I bought a pack from the company" spice and all things nice. They are labeled gluten free with the following ingredients:

Udad flour, Salt, Sodium Bicarbonate, Asafoetida, Vegetable Oil and additional indregients for different flavors.

You pop them in the microwave for just a few seconds and TADA!! Fabulous. I also found them on the menu at JAVA coffee and bar in Stellenbosch. Try them out, really!
